D'You Know What I Mean?

“D'You Know What I Mean” was released as the lead single off Be Here Now. It is a “call to arms” song that samples a drum beat from N.W.A’s “Straight Outta Compton.” At the time of release it was the single with the longest runtime (7.42 min) by Oasis, an indication of the (over)long songs on Be Here Now. In 2010 it was included in the singles collection Time Flies… 1994-2009.
