Death of a Party

“Death of a Party” is a trip-hop-influenced track about STIs (specifically AIDS), and the people who have died or had their lives ruined due to these infections and illnesses. Although the take that would make it on the album was recorded in 1996, the song dates back all the way to 1992, when the band had recorded a drastically different acoustic demo of the song, which the band would release in 1996 as a fan-club only release.
