Faithful

“Faithful” mirrors the sensitive and emotional vibe on Drake’s 2011 album Take Care. Drake explains his fondness for a girl; however she’s too busy working to engage in a relationship. Drake must remain patient (and faithful) while she pursues her independence. The track features an unreleased verse from the Southern hip-hop legend Pimp C, who was a member of UGK. and Drake’s newest OVO signee, dvsn. The posthumous verse was sampled from the track “Tom Ford (Remix).”, which was on his 2013 album Magna Carta… Holy Grail.
